VTRON’s display solutions have been chosen by Korea Telecom. Korea Telecom is one of the largest telecommunications enterprises in Korea. They need reliable and seamless data displays in their IDC Operations Centre in Seoul for 2 purposes.

First purpose is to view the entire phone network and data processing status to ensure the call stability and superior network quality. VTRON’s 2x8 84”rear-projection video wall solution is designed for continuous operation to cope with peak call usage or any emergency situations. The wallboards on video walls allow the operators to monitor and predict the phone usage. VTRON’s video wall offers exceptional colour performance, uniform brightness, high contrast and long lamp-life, it helps minimising eye strain and operators can view the wallboards for a long period of time.

Second purpose is to ensure the security of the data centre and its equipment. Korea Telecom handles millions of phone calls in every minute. Any physical intrusion in the IDC Operations Centre will affect the overall network operation. CCTV security cameras are connected to another 2x2 80” video wall for security and surveillance purpose to ensure over 99% network reliability.
